SOSEK
São Paulo born and raised graffiti writer and illustrator Sosek (1983) is known for his black and white portraits and urban scenes with black ink. The endless amount of hours he spent since his youth writing his name out in the streets of São Paulo, gave him the chance to know his city as no other and expand his artistic horizons until international galleries.
His most recent work “Interno” consists of a series of canvasses and paper, illustrating homeless life at Avenida Paulista. Their position as outcasts and societies’ dirt is as his daily mirror, a reflection of his unease with society and the conflict with his inner self as represented by the city’s chaos.
